Our department faculty member Neslihan GÜGÜMCÜ's research proposal has been accepted by the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) in Edinburgh, which provides research support to the world's leading mathematicians.

Neslihan GÜGÜMCÜ will collaborate with Prof. Dr. Alexei Lisitsa and Prof. Dr. Andrew Fish from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool at the Edinburgh Center in 2026 to work on the theme "Solving Problems in Knot Theory Using Automated Reasoning." Her research visit will be financially supported by ICMS.
