Dr. Baytaş is inviting applications from motivated MSc and PhD students to join his group at the Department of Mathematics, İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE). Successful applicants will be supported by the TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Project (2025–2028), focusing on foundational aspects of Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG). The research will also explore entanglement in quantum geometry, semi-classical limits of quantum spacetime, connections to quantum information theory and additional related topics. Admitted MSc. and PhD students will be advised by Dr. Baytaş for their theses/dissertations. We offer full scholarship support (TÜBİTAK 3501 program), collaborative research environment in mathematical and theoretical physics and opportunities for national and international collaboration within the LQG community. Applicants should hold (or be pursuing) a degree in physics, mathematics, or related disciplines and have a strong interest in theoretical foundations. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Dr. Baytaş via email (bekirbaytas@iyte.edu.tr).
