Double Major & Minor Programs
Doubler Major Program
Students can apply to the double major program for which a quota is announced, at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the 5th semester at the latest.
In order for the student to apply for the double major program;
a) He/she must successfully complete all the courses in the education plan and other courses taken until the semester he/she applies. (Students with a W grade must have succeeded in that course until the semester they apply.)
b) At the time of application, the grade point average in the major program must be at least 3.00 and must be in the top 20% of the major diploma program in terms of success in the relevant class. However, students who have a grade point average of at least 3.00 in the major program and who are not in the top 20% in terms of success, who have a score not less than the base score of the program in which the double major program will be made, can apply to the double major program.
c) In addition to the other conditions determined in the directive, the student must have met the success ranking requirement determined by the Higher Education Council for the relevant Engineering programs and the Architecture program in the year of registration. Students who are placed from DGS or foreign student quota cannot apply to these programs.
d) Applications are made to the Registrar's Office with a petition and transcript on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Students who are accepted by the decision of the academic unit administrative board where the program is carried out are notified to the Registrar's Office within the course add-drop period.

Minimum total ECTS for non-technical Elective Courses is 12.
Minimum total ECTS for technical elective courses is 58. At least two of them must be Math-elective courses. |
In order for the student to graduate from the double major program;
a) Having a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50,
b) To be successful in all the courses taken and to obtain 240 ECTS in total must.
Minor Program
- The student can apply to the announced minor program at earliest at the starting of the 3rd semester of his/her own undergraduate program and at latest at the starting of the 6th semester of his/her own undergraduate program.
- The objective of the minor program is to ensure that the students who successfully continue their undergraduate programs of their own departments get information on another branch that they are interested in.
- For the student to apply to the minor program;
1- S/he is required to complete all credit courses with success till the semester in which s/he makes application. (The students having the grade of W should succeed in that course till the semester in which they make application.)
2- During the application, the Cumulative Grade Point Average of the student is required to be at least 2.50.
